Hi, I see that the subproject AP 27 has been chosen for the Pentathlon in 3 days. Any idea if it might work on Intel Arc GPUs by that time? :)

This version of the app is somewhat faster, so all Windows and Linux GPU tasks should take less time than before.
I went from ~2800 seconds/task to ~2600 seconds/task on the same hardware (a GTX 1060 6GB). Looks good :)

i think you need to pull the new version of the application. at least for Linux/Nvidia. it's faster, but has a very high error rate and is randomly wasting tasks after crunching 75+% of the task. stock clocks. this leads to overall worse production and wasted time crunching.
please put the old app back up 2.09 app back up for Linux/Nvidia, unless you can quickly isolate the issue to push a fix for the new app. |

which host? which platform? I took a look through your hosts and don't see you running this AP27 GPU app on your GPU hosts.
the errors I and others have seen so far have been on Linux/Nvidia. other platforms might not be impacted. |

For testing purposes the old (v.209) linux/nvidia app is turned back on. Let me know if the problem goes away with the new 2.09 tasks.
