Here’s an idea. Replace The 1060 and the 1070 with a single 4070. It will be a lot faster than the two old GPUs combined. It can do over 800K credit per day in CW sieve. Meanwhile, the electricity savings will pay for the GPU in less than two years. (The financials are for me; I suspect your payback might be faster. )

In fact this is something I looked into last night with the MSI 4070 costing around 950 euro in Europe.

Edit: The price I cite is for the 4070 Ti. The plain 4070 is under 800 euro.

Man, completion times are dropping real fast.

At the start, the 1660ti was at ~2360s. Now it's moving at ~2110, almost a 12% drop. Same for the 8400 iGPU: 226643 to 196235, or a 15.5% drop.

Crazy.

As much as I could use the extra credit by setting loose my iGPU's, I would rather not stress my CPU's any further. The last thing I need at the moment is a fried CPU.
