Ich lebe in der Nähe von Frankfurt
Ich arbeitete als Computer Administrator im Rechenzentrumsbetrieb, verantwortlich für AIX und Linux Systeme in hoch verfügbaren Umgebungen.
Jetzt bin ich - Gott sei Dank - in Rente.
Für die Wissenschaft und den Spaß stelle ich jederzeit und gerne die Power meiner privaten Rechenknechte zur Verfügung. ;)
Wir helfen
- bei der Bekämpfung von Krankheiten wie COVID-19, AIDS oder Malaria,
- bei der Erforschung von Asteroiden oder der Simulation von Sternenpopulationen im Universum
- bei der Klimaforschung,
- bei der Aufklärung diverser Probleme der Mathematik
- und bei vielen anderen interessanten Projekten im wissenschaftlichen Umfeld

I live near Frankfurt in Germany.
I was working as a computer administrator in datacenter services, responsible for AIX and Linux in high available computing environments.
Now - thanks god - I'm retired. :)
I'm spending anytime the power of my privat boxes for science and fun. :)

- the fight against diseases like COVID-19, AIDS or Malaria,
- the exploration of asteroids or the simulation of star populations,
- climatology,
- to find solution for diverse mathematical problems
