Would it be possible to know what is Ricky's nickname?

I'm NeoGen from AMD Users, and I maintain the AMD Users wiki, in which I have a list of our members that find top 5000 primes.

I would like to add him, but I cannot find him by the name "Ricky L Hubbard" on our team.

Ricky, if you see this, please come by our forums or reply here.

I'm rooting for Portugal, but the match against Brasil on the 25th is gonna be tough.

I was trying to change my email address but to no avail. It always returns a message saying that my password is invalid. I think it's odd because it doesn't ask me for one, only asks for the new email address. I've changed the password anyway and retried and still didn't work. Any clues?

Yep, that's why they made it on a cluster of 80 machines, which were probably all interconnected in a very high speed network.
Only that way it can be called (more or less) distributed.

For further study of anyone interested in maths, here's a link to wikipedia pointing to the AKS Primality Test.
The AKS Primality Test is an algorithm to prove primality of a given number in polynomial time!

There are some half a dozen other RSA challenges...

http://www.rsasecurity.com/rsalabs/node.asp?id=2093

And it seems that RSA Labs hasn't updated their contest page yet.

Per the RSA Labs site, they won't announce that the solution has been found until they can verify that the solution is correct. That is, both factors must be prime numbers and must actually multiply to become the key. The hard part is verifying that both numbers are actually prime.

I would only do the multiplication and compare the result to the RSA challenge. If that fails then there would be no point on checking if they're primes.
And if the multiplication does check correctly, then I'm sure they are both primes, not by verification but because if they weren't RSA would be in big trouble.
I'm far from genius at maths but it's logical that if RSA provided keys that weren't based on two primes they would be in a very serious security risk.
So, there's no need to go on trying to factor the factors again to prove they're primes.
And I think that proving the primality is far far easier than actually finding the primes themselves. So I don't see no excuse for RSA Labs not having yet updated their site, even if they were exaustively checking if both factors are primes.

RSA Results Received Total 101428

Taken from the mainpage.

This means that we have recently hit a nice milestone... 100,000 RSA results! :)
