Several days ago, I finished another SOB task. When checking the status of the DC task, I noticed the computer (http://www.primegrid.com/results.php?hostid=1080437&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=13) which the DC task was assigned to had many hundreds of SOB tasks assigned, but most were aborted. It appears that the computer is aborting all the long tasks, while completing only DC tasks. Are DC tasks for SOB also worth 60% more credits than normal tasks?

It doesn't seem fair that short DC tasks are also eligible for the 50% credits bonus since they are not long jobs. Then again, perhaps DC tasks should also be awarded bonus credits since they will not be credited for discovering a prime, while still using valuable computing resources.

That is my machine. If you read my earlier messages (http://www.primegrid.com/forum_thread.php?id=9742) my system is having issues downloading hundreds of tasks at a time. It is a BUG in the current version of BOINC and so I have been aborting the long tasks because I know they cannot get done in time.
The problem has been settling down, but I have not had time to downgrade the software to a previous version to stop it from going crazy.

Collected a few sample data by dividing the credit by the CPU time taken on the same computer. The credits earned per second of CPU time on long tasks were no different from that earned by fast DC tasks.
