Anything special needed to run the GPU Wu's, I'm getting nothing but error's on 2 Box's but 1 Box runs them okay ...
This box has a 580 GPU & 64 gb Memory & the latest version of BOINC but the GPU Wu's error out in 10 seconds .... http://www.primegrid.com/results.php?hostid=879177 ... I would think it should be able to run the Wu's |

Can't see any detail myself, but as a generic step I find re-installing GPU drivers to be a good first step in troubleshooting. |

I have the latest GPU Drivers installed already, in fact the one Linux Box that's throwing errors has the same Video Drivers that the other Linux Box has that's running the GPU Wu's okay.
The Win 10 Box that's throwing error's just had new drivers installed a week or so ago, it runs GPU Wu's from other Project just fine ... |

Should read 1080 GPU not 580 GPU ... Checked the drivers again & NVIDIA Says I have the latest Drivers Installed ...

What else do you have running on the GPU? Are you using up the memory on the card (I ask because you are getting this error "CL_OUT_OF_RESOURCES"? Maybe you are running some other OpenCL tasks?
I have two 1080s running with no issues, so the card should work just fine.

I had a problem with a newly bought 1660. It worked well with AP27, but GFN tasks quit after a minute or so with "max error exceeded". Returned the card and the new one works flawlessly.
So since GFN seems to be quite sensitive towards unstable hardware, did you try to run it?
On the other hand, if the same problem occurs on two different computers, that's not likely due to hardware failure.

So far the only video card that will run the WW GPU Wu's is a Quadro K5000 Card in my Linux Ubuntu Xeon Box. Neither the GTX 1080 Win 10 Pro or GTX 960 Linux Ubuntu box will run them.
I just ran 2 GFN 15's & I'm running a GFN 20 right now without error on the GTX 1080 Box ... |

The linux 960 looks like it needs opencl installed. Try installing ocl-icd-opencl-dev |

Greetings
Got the same error with my Win 10 x64 - GTX 1060 3gb.
Haven't had a chance to investigate why.
My 1660 super is running sweet, so its the only card doing these tasks.
Regards

Completed a GFN20 with the GTX 1080 Box so I don't think it's the card or drivers ... http://www.primegrid.com/results.php?userid=103&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=28 |

Such a link with "userid=xxx" in it, is never accessible for mortal users other than the one with that ID. However, with the hostid (show tasks for one particular machine), it is more useful for others: https://www.primegrid.com/results.php?hostid=879177&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=28 (no matter if owner hides or shows his machines)
But right now we still have to wait until the DC'er completes this particular task.

You're probably trying to install 32-bit libraries into a 64-bit O/S.
You can verify that 's a 64-bit O/S by typing the command "uname -m" and it responds: x86_64
Try installing the same libraries without the 32's in the package names. |

Well I did get my GTX 960 to run the GPU Wu's by switching it back to Windows, computer has 2 hard drives, Linux on one & Windows on the other drive.
I didn't want to switch sooner because I had several CPDN Wu's on the Linux side but they finished up over night so I switched back to Windows just to see if it would run the GPU Wu's & it did.
Still haven't got my GTS 1080 to run them though, have no idea what it's missing to run them ...
NOTE: For the heck of it I tried some more WW GPU Wu's on my GTX 1080 & surprisingly it's running one, it hasn't erred out yet after 5 Min's so that's way longer than it would run them before, fingers crossed it keeps running them, my production will go way up with both GTX's on the production line ... |
