Hi,

Where would the PRPNET projects rank if a prime was found in one of them?

You can look at the leading edge of each project here: Leading

If you find a prime, you will be above the current one.

There would be a difference between the most recent find, and the current leading edge.

We can check four places:

• PRS, port 12008 Leading Edge 2543341 => digits: 1,103,605 => prime rank: 173rd
• FPS, port 12002 Leading Edge 249752 => digits: 1,239,576 => prime rank: 137th
• 121, port 12001 Leading Edge 7726405 => digits: 2,325,882 => prime rank: 40th
• _27, port 12006 Leading Edge 6910906 => digits: 2,080,392 => prime rank: 51st

Addition: If these calculations are correct, it looks like Primorial and Factorial finds will not be announced given that they will not make it into Top 100?

Not necessarily. "Special" primes do get announcements (e.g., Twins and SG are well below the top 100 and get announcements). A quick look at the front page would suggest that both Primorial and Factorial would be announced officially.
