We're not sure yet what's causing that. You computer is the only 32 bit Linux box to run this so far, so I can't tell if it's a problem with the app or something specific to your computer. So I started a 32 bit Linux VM, and it's running fine on that.
It's not obvious, at least not yet, what the problem is.

We're not sure yet what's causing that. You computer is the only 32 bit Linux box to run this so far, so I can't tell if it's a problem with the app or something specific to your computer. So I started a 32 bit Linux VM, and it's running fine on that.
It's not obvious, at least not yet, what the problem is.
I've also been able to run fine on 32 bit linux, so it seems that the problem is not generic to all 32-bit linux. To help debug, can you try the following (klepel)?

Ian, I am not sure if I might do the tests. It is our RedHat/Centos Server of the office, so I am not very animated to do trails on this particularly computer.
It might be that the BOINC client is too old for the Generalized Cullen/Woodall prime search, as I had a similar problem with climateprediction.net on this computer and the sieve does work on my Lubuntu USB Stick on an Intel Computer.
