Since current SGS is 128k , can someone who knows PRPNet good, tell me what project is little above 128k?
Since if you find SGS you are on ~750 place in 5000 prime list, with number like 160 or 192k you will be on much higher place :)
Currently my choice is SR5 , since it use LLR ( with AVX on my CPU).
Any better suggestion?

SR5 is a good choice if you are looking for something a bit larger than the current SGS range. Also, you might consider the GFN65536 project. Prime finds on that project are just a bit bigger than SGS (422,000+ digits vs. 388,000+ digits) and rank just outside the top 500 primes. (*note that GFN65536 is beyond the range for Genefer64 and requires the use of the somewhat slower Genefer80 application).

Yes, I tested Genfer80 last night, but it is nearly double slower then SR5 ( 3900 seconds vs 1800 seconds), so Genefer80 is not good choice...
Scott, thanks for quick reply

"Somewhat slower" is about 2.5x slower.

121/27 are two that bring in huge primes. I found a 121 and it was ranked 28th overall when I found it.

ESP is also pretty large.

Yes, I know that, but since I need about 10000 seconds per one WU, and for SR5 I need about 2000 seconds, clear mathematics show that I will process 5 times more SR5 WU, so it is bigger chance to find one. And I am very pleased with current ranking of SR5 WU :)

ESP need around 1h (AVX). SR5 is coming closer to this range too.

Still ratio 2:1 :)
So it looks like SR5 was right decision :)

Yes, I tested Genfer80 last night, but it is nearly double slower then SR5 ( 3900 seconds vs 1800 seconds), so Genefer80 is not good choice...
Scott, thanks for quick reply

Just to remind others who may be reading this thread (not you directly, Crun-chi), the gap between speeds for SR5 and GFN65536 is much less for first generation i-7 and/or Phenom CPUs and older as these do not gain from AVX.

Using all-complex AVX FFT length 192K, Pass1=256, Pass2=768, a = 3
92182*5^855614+1 is not prime. RES64: 1DEFEEB9742C5ED6. OLD64: 59CFCC2C5C851C7F Time : 1894.320 sec.
[2013-01-09 20:28:31 CEST] SR5: 92182*5^855614+1 is not prime. Residue 1DEFEEB9742C5ED6.

This is part of my prpclient.log

What is my question: it is clear that LLR gives residue ( or not if number is prime)
But every number I tested already have two residue RES64 , and OLD64
Doest it mean that number was already tested twice?

No, LLR just reports the residue is two different formats - the new one is recieved (RES64) is stored by the server and will be used for any future double-check, and the OLD64 is ignored but is output by the code for backwards compatibility with some other programs like Proth.exe and older versions of PFGW (I think?). In any case you can ignore it!

Cheers
