"World Rat Day"
Let's have a party because of Aggie's Birthday!
Announced is a two day challenge starting 4th and ending 6th april. I suggest we start at 4th high noon UTC and end at 6th high noon UTC.
More about the search can be found here. News and infos about the PRPNet client can be found here.
Note: The PPSElow workunits are very short, don't stress the servers too much! I suggest the smallest portion should be five workunits; the faster the CPU the greater portion of workunits!
To take part, you have to activate the following lines in prpclient.ini:
server=PPSElow:50:5:prpnet.mine.nu:12000
server=PPSElow2:50:5:prpnet2.mine.nu:12000
While rats are social animals this will be a team challenge. The challenge stats will be available at the well known place here.
May the best horde win!
... and may the servers will be stable and loaded with plenty of workunits ;-)

I strongly recommend taking more than 5 workunits at a time. I recommend at least 20. These workunits will be done quickly thus grabbing more workunits at a time will reduce stress on the server. |

Yeah, can we have the max work unit limit on these servers dramatically increased, to say 100? I know that even not during challenge time it would help for me. My internet is fairly spotty, and sometimes it will go down at night and I won't be able to restart the router until I wake up in the morning and I will have wasted six hours of potential compute time. At least with 100 work units less time will have been wasted...

The rats awoke early... it's about 10:00 UTC now but the stats already contain a lot of tests. Will they be reset at 12:00 or will we just continue? :)

my mistake
I reset it from remote
hopefully all is done well
we will see it soon after 12:15 UTC
EDIT:
after comming home I looked deeper into.
there was a duplicate entry in crontab activated, which let the stats scripting run.
as far as I concern the stats are ok by now
