Is that from the log file or from the command prompt? I was expecting to see some output from genefer echoed to the display (output that is not written to the prpclient log file).

Do you know which genefer this is running (geneferCUDA, genefx64, etc.)? Is there a work_xx.in file after the client stops? Are there any other temp files in the directory?

You can run the geneferCUDA within the 4.3.6 windows package for now. Just copy it into your 4.3.7 package folder. We're working on resolving the issue.

Ken has provided an update to GeneferCUDA.exe that should fix the issue. Download it here: GeneferCUDA-windows.7z (7.53MB compressed 148MB uncompressed)

Included are the following files:

    cudart.dll

    cufft.dll
    cufft32_32_16.dll
    cufft32_40_17.dll
    GeneferCUDA.exe

Please let me know what files are no longer needed. Once everything is confirmed working, then we can update the Windows packages. Thanks!

I downloaded 4.3.7 - not working, even genefer cuda from here not working too.

NV GTX 570 like I wrote up.

Changed drivers too 285.62 is started, but when i resume work unit after Ctrl-C something like this come up:

Then it appears to be an issue with geneferCUDA. Apparently something was broken WRT the checkpoint file.

"This number is approximately 1467881 digits long. It was found on machine xxx using the program . It was proven prime with the program If the number is large enough for the Prime Pages, please include the program in the credits. If adding to the Prime Pages don't forget to include project "PrimeGrid" in the credits."

That is not good...
At least those "primes" don't show up on PRPNet stats. So i guess the emails were sent by error and those fake primes are not reported further.

No, this is not good. We've seen this happen once before and still don't have a solution for it. You are correct, these candidates are not prime. Something happens in the "return string" and the DB gets filled with invalid values. They are easy to spot because their "prime" setting is an obvious error.

We will manually reset those candidates, and they'll go back out for testing. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It appears that this is a bug on the server.

If debuglevel=1 could be set on both client and server, that would help me track this down faster.
