Is Cullen LLR maxing out at 2800.00 or is it just a coincidence?

Both Cullen and Woodall LLR's are capped at 2800.

Woodall seems to have been released from this 2,800 ceiling (at least it was for the challenge)... has Cullen been released from it as well, and if not, why not?

Cullen (LLR) now seems to be bumping up against a credit limit of 3600. |

is there any particular reason to put caps on credits? against some kind of cheating?
anyway, wouldn't it be simpler to assign credits using some kind of formula (n,k) ?
(I remember a discussion about this a long time ago....) |

Rogue hosts claiming too much credit.

Not practical. We attempted a hybrid solution with a correlation factor but that too didn't work. Additionally, time jumps for FFT breaks are different on dissimilar machines.
Currently, host averaging between the two that complete the WU is used. Expanding this to do host averaging across multiple k/n pairs and hosts would "focus" the credit better, but that adds a level of complexity we are not able to do at the moment.

Most of my Woodall LLR workunits are hitting the 4000 cap.
See http://www.primegrid.com/results.php?userid=8810&offset=0&show_names=0&state=3&appid=3
Maybe it's time to raise it a little bit..... |

Just wondering if the CW Sieve is down or if this includes all cuda sieve work
It looks like the server is acting a little funny after setting up the genefer beta.
In another post, it's mentioned that if you turned on the "accept work from other projects" box you'll get cuda work -- but, of course, you won't be able to choose between the two. (Soon to be 3, or even 4, hopefully.)

thanks Michael. Hope they are working on this and get is resolved soon. Of course this little issue is well worth the wait if they get other cuda enabled projects going. |

can you take a look at SoB while you're at it? They're also hitting the upper limit again.
Thanks :-)
