Just to let you know, I have completed porting the Genefx64 application, currently only available for Windows, to Mac OS X and Linux.

You can download the binaries from:

http://www.pyramid-productions.net/downloads/genefx64_macintel.tar.gz
http://www.pyramid-productions.net/downloads/genefx64_linux.tar.gz

The Mac version requires a 64 bit processor (i.e. Core 2 or Core i3/5/7), and Mac OS X 10.5 or greater. The Linux version also requires a 64 bit processor, and I believe should run on any Linux distro with a 2.6 kernel.

I'm less confident about the compatibility of the Linux version, so please test out, especially if you have an Intel processor (I built and tested on an Opteron machine).

To test, run ./genefx64 -r and ensure no error messages are reported.

If you have success (or failures) please post here with your system specs and the output from your run.
