The messages here are fine. It just means that the client/server could not sync up when trying to get work. I am curious what the server says. I presume that you are running the 3.2.3 client.

Are you sure that the firewall stopped PFGW? PFGW does not make any network connections. It is more likely that Windows Security is asking if you "really want to run the program".

you are correct.....i used poor wording...i meant my security suite, not my firewall.....it prevents "unknown" programs from running until they are predefined.

What you can do is double click the pfgw executable from Windows Explorer and then set the checkbox appropriately in the dialog. I think it needs to be unchecked, but I don't recall.
