it has been doing this for hours. an as of this posting . i have only 2 w/u's an they'll be done in about 4 mins
it keeps doing this every time i try to get W/U's. an to help out on fixing it. i got a ati hd 4550 vid card that is already running a gpu project

The message you posted is saying your PC is unable to get GPU tasks for this project. That is correct since this project currently does not have any GPU applications. This should not interfere with you being able to get GPU WUs for other projects. For CPU WUs, depending on the number of projects you are connected to, BOINC will usually try to get an equal amount of work from each project unless you have it set differently. So for two projects, your CPU resource share should be 50% for each project. For five projects, your CPU resource share should be 20% for each project. This can be different if you have changed your settings for BOINC/project website or you are using a BOINC account manager. You should not have any trouble receiving CPU WUs, if you are, check your resource share under the 'Projects' tab in BOINC.
