Colab & GNF-17 not working
(Message 161562)
Posted 57 days ago by Michael Becker
Restart your pc and it will work again.
boink seems to have problems to delete folders of finished work units, and get a kind of hickup by this. After a restart this old folders will be deleted.

LLR2 installed on all big LLR projects

my AMD Ryzen 9 3900X also performs poorly with the new LLR2 app at SR5, with 4x 3 core multithreading it needs ~35000s (including ~900s for 'Compressed 128 points to 7 products'), the old app did a task in ~20000s.

Thank you, maybe after 2 years of running the gpu got weaker.
I'm guessing you already tried rebooting the pc? Sometimes they just get lost and reduce their power, a reboot can fix it.
Cleaning of heatsink and fan is also recommended...

Nice feature :-)
but the number of 'Avg. cores/computer' seems to be incorrect, like this:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz [Family 6 Model 158 Stepping 9] 138 8.98 5.19 46.58
This CPU has afaik 8 cores with HT on, how we get 8.98 ??

New Badge Suggestion
(Message 122816)
Posted 1656 days ago by Michael Becker
What about this: An 'unlucky' badge for 'found no prime a long time'
bronze after 2 months
silver - 4 months
gold - 6 months
..
.
but only if user is searching for primes.
if a user has only sieve work units, he should not get it
