T-Mobile Interference Caused by Man's Bitcoin Mining Rig
T-Mobile customers in northern Brooklyn had been complaining for much of last year about mysterious service issues that consistently plagued certain areas of the New York City borough. After a lengthy investigation, the FCC and T-Mobile discovered the culprit was that one man's bitcoing mining rig (more specifically a Bitmain Antminer S5) was somehow causing the interference in the 700Mhz band. "The device was generating spurious emissions on frequencies assigned to T-Mobile’s broadband network and causing harmful interference," the FCC's enforcement bureau told the man in the letter.
I wonder if putting it inside an aluminum foil lined box would help? At the current prices, and them going up again almost daily, it would be a shame to have to shut it down.
Simple solution. Put the whole thing in a Faraday cage.

2 easy ways to do it:
1- My Account -> Manual Sieving Reservations -> My Open Reservations -> Upload
2- Manual Sieving (menu on the left) -> Show reservations (for the GFN Number you've picked) -> Upload (Scroll down until you see your reservation).

I can start a new one for 2018. As we won't have new announcement for MP now :)
But the list will be simple, with no details as Michael does for MP or GFN announcement. Not sure I will be able to get those information easily. I can add digit number as info.

Will you award to everyone who eliminates a K that the K badge above is given to all future founders. If so, you should award to crunchers who eliminated a K in the past as well (back to at least 2010).
The other M badge should be awarded to other Mega primes winners Should be retroactive as well. I assume that's what the M stands for.
I think more rare & unique badges should be awarded for rare & unique finds.
I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Except for TDP badges, all of the new badges are retroactive. As an example, you have one for a prime you found in 2013.
Basically what I'm asking is will these badges be a new permanent thing for everyone in all subprojects for the current, future and past and are not just SoB or TdP. Also Could these have threads of their own (for Mega since not all will be annoounced in NEWS section anymore + when a K is eliminated, to have separate threads for them) like how GFN primes are posted where both initial finder and double checker is listed, but only initial finders get the new badges. Since these will be for all subprojects it should be in Number Crunching as sticky posts

I was thinking a thread listing of all mega primes (for 2018 and new thread for 2019 etc.) since not all (only top 100 on T5K list) will be posted in NEWS section. We should have a list such as how Mike posts all GFN, APs 25 and above. Don't know if Mike would take this on (he already has enough on his plate) or someone who keeps up on mega primes on a daily basis who would keep such a list going.
Any volunteers. I would, but my disability forces many stays in a hospital and strange sleep patterns.
