No change to CPU task times.
Just checked GFN-18, CPU time on those has gone up a lot too, around x 10.

Does anyone know why the CPU time would increase for GPU tasks?
On 10 Feb my GFN-16 and 17 had CPU times of 18 and 14 seconds.
Now on Feb 11 GFN-16 and 17 have CPU times of about 33 and 70 seconds.
GPU times are the same. (RTX 2080 Ti)

So it wasn't the 2080, installed it into an older Windows 7 PC and it was doing GFN-16 tasks in 73 seconds.
Tried different driver versions on Boinc 7.14.2 and 7.16.20.
Uninstalled recent windows updates.
Ran out of things to try so ended up reinstalling Windows 10 Pro.
All good now and GFN-16 back at 75-80% GPU and about 70 secs.
Will never know what the exact problem was!

Rolled back to 7.14.2 and driver 451.67, no change.
Then went to driver 472.12, no change.
GFN-16 still almost 3 times slower than normal.

I cleared the compute cache and nothing changed.
And I only run GPU tasks by themselves, so it always has a free CPU core.

PPS and WW are working at 99-100% GPU as usual.
For some reason only GFN is keeping the GPU at 30%.

Power supply is all good, 1300 watt.
Tested it on another Boinc project, Collatz and the GPU is running at 99-100%.
Also no problems with gaming, GPU is working hard.
The problem is only with PrimeGrid.

Yeah I've been using Afterburner for years, I have not changed its settings.
I only use it to control the fan speed.
Also tried GFN-15 and its over twice as slow too.
Something is restricting the GPU...

Hi everyone,
I ran some GFN-16 tasks but they are now taking 200+ seconds and only use 30% GPU.
They normally take about 65-70 seconds.
Thinking it might have been BOINC, I went from 7.14.2 to 7.16.20.
Also rolled back the nVidia driver from 511.65 to 451.67 and tried a few in between.
Nothing has worked yet.
Any suggestions? Thanks
