Awesome, thank you!

Now, just need to figure out how to get it working. I have BOINC running in a docker on Unraid. Have GPU passed into it, but getting some errors on it unable to find usable devices. I'll figure it out sooner or later though..

Hello ATP! VEEEEEERY long time no chat.

I haven't been very active in the last 4+ years or so... mostly due to still running Doominator that I built in 2011. A decent machine all in all, but just wasn't keeping up on primegrid so I drifted away.

Anyways, I'm interested in getting back into it. I have a server running at home that I recently put a nvidia 1660 in, to use its NVENC and NVDEC functionality, however this leaves the card with a lot of empty CUDA cores still sitting idle.

So I was wondering, is there much available yet for projects that work well/ideal for nvidia cuda? Figured this was best place to ask first before digging too deep on trying to catch up on happenings in last 4-5 years.

Toot!

I finally hit 10 million on SoB!! I started in April with SoB from scratch basically and have taken it quite far. Its my first 10 million badge for a CPU based project. I'm getting relatively close though on SGS too.[/url]

finally!

Once the current challenge is over I'll switch back to SoB to earn that next badge. :-) > 3 million pending credit yet, so I'm most of the way there. It just takes forever for some of it to get validated!

Are we winning yet?

Hopefully we're off to a good start!
I manually just aborted and got all new tasks on my ten virtual CPUs right at the start

Anyone familiar with Boinc View for remote management?

I never have tried it before, but thought now coming into a challenge would be a great time to set it up for my vultr cores to better manage their tasks instead of one at a time via command prompt on each console.

I've gotten remote_hosts_cfg and gui_rpc_auth.cfg updated properly in /var/lib/BOINC on my Vultr instance, however when attaching it to BoincView it just fails to connect on my main PC. Almost as if i need to open the port somehow?

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I miss the Doominator!

Doominator is still kicking strong!

http://www.primegrid.com/show_host_detail.php?hostid=413701

The i7-3930k still has some staying power. I think I will look into upgrading / rebuilding once Broadwell-E CPU's come out, but they recently got delayed. Q1 2016 they should go into mass production.

Then I'll have a super Doominator with an i7-6930k!
