I hope all the admin team and friends of PrimeGrid are going fine, once more looking for help about ltasks that will finish after the deadline.
2 of my Genefer tasks will not finish in time, the problem was they took much longer than the time expected.
In spite I was not using hyperthreading that I am now, I would like your attention on these 2 tasks and a prorogation of the deadline would be nice, I will finish these 2 tasks for sure but the first of them more than 10 days after the deadline.

Just a note to say that the Prime Sierpinsky Problem (LLR) 6.17 task yhat is the psp_llr_219170301 WU finished and the credit and crunching counted that was quite good and rewarded for the time invested on it, thank you for that.
I am sure I will be back more times to have some of this chats with you all and learn a bit about computing and how to use the capabilities of my hardware. I have also one Asus P5KPL with a dual core CPU that I will put to use, crunching in Primegrid on exclusivity, as soon as I have time and money to get a PSU and Hard Disk for it.
Thank you for all the good counsellings that I will read and reread, that was very nice of you to give so much attention on me. I hope you also can join me as your friend on Primegrid account, I am very happy with all the Primegrid team.

I will get back to Windows7 on a short time, meanwhile I had took off the hyperthreading with good results so far, only 4 Tasks running but much faster now I need to understand this OC system on MSI to turn it off also.
The computer is running too hot and sometimes restarts. I am trying to understand if this is an OC problem or a problem in my Board or CPU once both are new.
Buying parts is good when we know what to do with them and I really don’t know enough and shouldn’t had done that.

Nice I will try that, only have to find out where hyper-threading is on my bios. I have one new MSI Z87M-G43 and I am still exploring it. I am running Linux Mint and since then couldn’t find out why my onboard HD4600 from Intel is not showing for Boinc but well, the HD5770 is not showing either.
I think I have to come back to Windows, I am just to dumb for Linux.
Thank you for the counselling about hyper-threading and I will try to change that.

Thank you for the help Michael, in fact the problem was that I have 8 cores running and while I was only crunching Primegrid I had no problems but meanwhile I add another 2 projects that confused things.
A prime number would be very good as prize for all the time I have been crunching this project, I wouldn’t mind to be the wingman to have that honour my friend. We all are here to help and make the best for the project and crunching tasks that don’t give prime numbers is also needed but I would really like to have one prime to join my signature, yes I would.

I have the same problem with a Prime Sierpinsky Problem (LLR) 6.17 task is the psp_llr_219170301 WU, I don’t know why but it started too late and know I will finish it after the deadline.
Boinc stopped the task for several times till it is too late and was crunching other tasks, it is not the first time that happened to me but I cant be nursing all the tasks all the time.
I changed the priority to 1000 for Prime and 1 for other projects, I think I will finish it in about 96 hours and the deadline is in 56 hours. Thanks in advance for your attention on this issue Michael.

yes it finished the tasks and disapeared of boinc manager as usual, but didn´t change the status in all tasks from my account. The 2 tasks keep as running only after that and because of that I reset primegrid. First see in boinc no primegrid tasks there see it in all tasks and still in progress so I detach and attach the project go to boinc and all tasks all the same. So run boinc again the same no tasks in boinc and in progress in all tasks. Restarted the computer and after that go and see no tasks in boinc and in progress the 2 tasks in all tasks. Anyway let it be. One sob 15 days of crunching and a proth prime sieve, 15,000 to trash not to me anyway. Small crunchers big tasks bad choice. I hope I explain it in detail now. We do our best and are sad when this happens. Sorry for my bad english.

I have one computer with 2 cores as I have a lot of memory use them as 4 cores, by cc_config . The tasks the 2 tasks are not in boinc manager so I don´t know what happened and don´t know what to do. They just disapeared the to tasks it shows as in progress are not in my boinc manager and are finnished.
