I noticed this WU has a long string of systems and all 8 coming back with a validate error. I just got a second one from another system. Is this something to be concerned about?

Not sure if this has to do with the change or not, but I noticed a WU with 6 validate errors.
I'm not sure how common errors like this are, but 6 separate users getting the same error is interesting enough for me to point out.

It means the results that have been returned do not match. One or both systems have an error. Looking at your wingman shows he has a few invalid wu, all on the same type as your inconclusive. So odds are you will be marked valid when the third unit is successfully returned.

If you're talking about the machine with the Radeon HD 6900, it seems to have got the app and returned valid tasks now.
I figured out the problem. Avast was stopping the download as suspicious. I turned off Avast for a bit to complete the download. Then once the new app started running, Avast quarantined it thinking it was malicious. I had to set an exception and now everything is smooth sailing.

For some reason boinc is having issues downloading the new version. It keeps backing off and retrying. The particular system had no problems downloading more ESP sieve tasks, just the new GFN-16 app.
Event log: Internet access ok- project servers may be temporarily down.
EDIT:Checking on one of my wingman shows a lot of errors

Looks like I just hit the limit on these '15 cpu units. CPU times jumped from ~10-12 minutes to up over 20. X87 onward for my 460m
Im going to do some testing and see if HT is still helping or harming now.

These '15 cpu tasks seem to be hyper-threading friendly.
My i5-m460 is doing tasks at ~5 minutes each, or 8.5 minutes with HT turned on.
So, it's slower with HT turned on?
Slower per 4 wu's? No.
this cpu is a dual core with HT.
Without HT, 4 Wu would take ~10 minutes to complete. 2 units then 2 units, or 5 minutes + 5 minutes.
With HT turned on 4 units running at once take ~8.5 minutes.
