No..I'm not losing any credits....the only problem now seems to be a computational software issue with just a small part of BOINC Stats...

I have also noticed a handful of other users commenting on what appears to be the same problem

Thanks!!

--I appear to be losing credit...in this case...by the millions.....Perhaps it is a BOINC software issue
-- Einstein stats are no longer showing up, even though I did consent (YES) to BOINC stat transfer...not sure if these items are related in some way

Thanks!!

Dear Primefinder,

Congratulations! Our records indicate that a computer registered by you has found a unique prime number. This computer is assigned to the Generalized Fermat Prime Search n=15 (GFN-15). Since candidates on this subproject are not large enough to report to the Top 5000 Primes List, your prime is visible immediately.

This has been a good few days for the University of Wisconsin team...Dr. Klahn's new prime number discovery and two more that I found out were verified

The "University of Wisconsin" is now in 58th place on the teams list 321-LLR Challenge. I have 2 completed and waiting for verification and 6 in progress. I should be able to run 12-14 more within the Challenge timeline.

8) Message boards : Problems and Help : Task Disk Limit Exceeded Errors (Message 110489)
Posted 606 days ago by Ed Snell
I tried the first step to solve my task error problem by re-booting the system...my pc never got past the login stage. I used my Ubuntu rescue disk and discovered that the old hard drive would not mount and had errors.....replaced the hard drive with a new 1TB unit and loaded Ubuntu....Primegrid is running now with 2 days of GFN15's per old settings... settings have been updated ....as soon as they clear I will load 8 AP27 tasks and see if they all run..

It appears that my software problems may have been caused by a hard drive failure...I was unable to access the old hard drive using SATA/IDE to USB adapter on my other laptop which seems to confirm the failure....While doing that the old hard drive sounded a little rough running using a stethoscope

Thanks!!..Ed

I found this BOINC link concerning "Aborting Tasks: Exceeded Disk Limit"

https://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/Error/Aborting%20task:%20exceeded%20disk%20limit

It lists 3 reasons why this error may occur within BOINC and a "Solution"

I hope this information will assist us in finding the root cause of my PC errors

Of Note: I can run a maximum of 5-AP27 tasks along with 3 GFN15 or GFN16 tasks.....Any other tasks or combination of tasks results in exceeded Disk Limit errors and the task aborting within the first second or two of run time in 3 of the 8 processors . Both CPU or GPU tasks are aborting. I have tried a number of different task combinations this evening as a test

Thanks!!..Ed
