im not shure, but i think because gfn runs with open cl, those cuda cores are not that important

maybe the reservation limit should be reconsidered

My point was the slowest tasks might be perceived as prone to hacking due to the high amount of credit.

Well, it's another wrong point then. GFN tasks are issued with much less credits (proportionally) than shorter tasks like PPS Sieve. And even if someone managed to hack them, it would be a wasted effort because such hacked tasks cannot pass double-checking then.

... until many people do it the same way an the dc has the same wrong/cheated result

So, according to you, sieving is not very useful and we can take big losses there? But, on the other side, it's actually rewarded with most credits. So, instead of adjusting the credits, let's ban 35% of PrimeGrid's computing power? Doesn't make much sense to me.

Sieving is useful, thats no question, but if i recall correctly, the sieving is way ahead to the search

i think primegrid would lose a big ammount of computation power, but since Gridcoin is mainly doing sieving, i think the loss of this computation power isn't that bad. And since they produce a big ammount of traffic to get the needed files, i think it would be better to ban them.

And because they mostly work as pools, they destroy competition between users.
