For those on the team that don't know, Renix and I are one and the same. This account is my oldest one. Before I joined Storm, I used this account as my main crunching account and the Renix account was my testing, etc., account. So I decided that I wanted all my crunching points to go towards Storm and thus the move. I intend to build this account up.

I had a very good TDP session this year prime wise. And have also found a couple ww special instances since moving this account here. I did slow down last fall on crunching at PG as I put several systems to work on Stream's server on some projects that Robish and Kellen have invested heavily into work wise. It has been a kick! :-)

Prior to PG in years past I did a lot of sieving for the no prime left behind project and one other project. I wish I had the higher math skills that many others on this project have, but I just offer the electricity and crunching hardware. I have enjoyed my time here so far and like it here. :-)

I think a bare outline of a jersey would be cool. Ah, maybe any empty jersey for most prime doublechecks.

LOL... First Loser!!! hahaha

Double checkers are not losers. On the opposite, they're the giants on whose shoulders the prime finders stand.

I think everyone totally recognizes the double checkers are a necessary part of the project, just as the sievers are totally necessary too but also get zero credit in the record book. Was just a light hearted comment on the reality of the official record book. :-)

I suppose one day toasters will have more computing power than the computers used on the Apollo missions. When will we be running primegrid on our toasters?

Well, telephones used to be as dumb as toasters. Look at them now (cell phones).

:-) Well played!!!

Well since we are just throwing things out here, how about this one. We already have a lot of challenges. In some folks eyes the challenges take time away from what pet projects they enjoy participating in, along with some team things going on. So why not just dedicate the total primegrid output for X number of days in honor of Lennart. There will still be a dedication to the gentleman, and it will all be in honor of his love of everything supporting finding primes. Because at the end of the day here that's what this is all about. The first year just starts a baseline. The second year and so on, is to try to beat the previous year's output in primes, factors, points, etc. Everyone gets to crunch what they want and the project still benefits.
