1) Message boards : Project Staging Area : Primefinder on TRPDC (Message 58738)

Noticed this port seems available again but there is no description in the PSA PRPNet Projects thread or an option in my master_prpclient. Do you add it with: server=TRPDC:0:1:prpnet.mine.nu:14000 ?

Something wrong with the port. I'm getting ''connect to socket failed with error 10061'' for about 40 minutes now.

I was lucky enough to get my first prime at PRPNet yesterday on PPSElow. YEAH! However, when I looked at my log after closing down the host for the night I realised that the prime task had taken 33min,whereas it normally takes around 3! I'm not sure whether the client had stopped working after finding the prime and only restarted again when I looked at it prior to readying it for closure or whether the prime tasks do extra checks and so take longer! I could have sworn the time for the prime finding task in the client window was the same as normal but I could be wrong on that. I also think I saw it say GFN?! Host running Win7x64 with client 5.0.8 and llr64.exe .
So I guess my question is do the prime finding tasks take longer or did I find a bug/problem?

Both Cullen and Woodall LLR's are capped at 2800.

BOINC needs more space on your hard disc. You should check your settings and/or free up some space on your drive.
By the way: You might get some calculation errors now and then with PPS LLR. There are some old WUs out there which collide with the new app.

BOINC has 20GB to play with and is only using 500MB. Looks like there is a problem on SGS LLR older tasks too!

EDIT:seems to be about 6% slower (my bad).

Ah,yes I see the application 6.03->6.06 now. I noticed in the Stderr output that the errors are using 6.03 wrapper! Example. Does that mean all my tasks that were created before the update are going to error?
Also, the 6.06 seems to take about 9-10% longer on my system!

I have had 4 errors today with error -177. In the BM I am getting the message ''Aborting task .... exceeded disk limit:25.75MB>9.54MB''. The tasks completed seem to be taking longer now too. Seen a few other Linux hosts with this too but no windows? Something changed?
10) Message boards : Number crunching : No credit (Message 25663)

Just returned a load of PPS LLR tasks which validated fine but granted zero credit. Example Happening to other hosts too. Server problem?
