No factors found :(. Oh well, it was worth a try at least!

GFN testing completed for 68633*2^2715609+1

No factors found, unfortunately.

I'm assuming that nobody else has tested the other 11 numbers, so I'll start them now.

Will these numbers be tested for Fermat divisibility?

Since the values of k are fairly high here, I think the chance of finding a Fermat divisor is quite low. I'll start a test on the new k = 68633 prime anyway and see if anything pops up.
4) Message boards : Fermat Divisor Search : How is it possible to test divisibility on such huge numbers? (Message 140482)

The answer is Modular exponentiation

Awesome, thank you for linking that video! That explained the process very clearly.

Could you please specify a link that's not blocked in China?

Well, it's a YouTube video, so you might not have much luck with finding one. You might be able to search online for "YouTube unblock" or mirror services that aren't blocked in China, but I don't know how successful that will be.

It appears there's a Wikipedia article on the same topic - I've got no idea whether Wikipedia is blocked for you or not. There's also a Chinese Wikipedia version of that article.

If I understand correctly, F5523858, the number we found a divisor for a while ago, has something in the ballpark of 10^1660000 digits. That's more digits than there are atoms in the universe - by a LOT. How are we able to determine that the prime we found divides this number if we can't even come close to representing the number in full?

Sorry if this is a silly question, I'm just a bit curious as to how it's possible.

This isn't the first time I've heard about a bug in GWNUM - I recall seeing some mentions of earlier bugs in LLR's update logs. If there are more faults in gwnum that we don't know about, how can we be certain that all the prime testing we're doing is actually valid? Not just in this mini-project, but ... everywhere.
7) Message boards : General discussion : Bug: Email notifications have corrupted titles for accented characters (Message 140429)
Posted 13 days ago by numbermaniac
Is it fixed now?

Yep, the accented character is appearing correctly now. Thanks for fixing it so quickly!

Wait, so the prime is automatically reported to T5K? By whom?

I don't think it's automatic - I believe stream submits it manually.
9) Message boards : General discussion : Bug: Email notifications have corrupted titles for accented characters (Message 140400)

I recently figured out how the Subscribe feature works - all this time I was wondering why I never got emails when there were new posts in threads I've posted to previously. Only figured out a few days ago that I actually have to manually click that Subscribe button at the top of the thread - how did I never notice it before?!

Anyway, now that those are working, a slight issue. When a thread has an accented character in the title, the title of the email from PrimeGrid has a some broken characters in place of the accented character. However, in the body of the email, the accented character appears correctly. Screenshot below:

If this could be fixed, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you :)

How large will the candidates be loaded to? n=3M? According to your stats that's the case.

He said here it would be 3M.

The project is moving on! New set of candidates, from n=1,5M to 3,0M, will be loaded on Saturday, 16 May 2020, at 09:00 UTC to "LLR2 testing" on GFN Server.
