It is always sad when a select few feel they are above the law and ruin everything for everyone else..
I agree that the individuals need to be blamed, not the teams they were on..

Cache too small
(Message 34614)

I am running PPS on a computer with dual Nvidia 570 Gpu's... My internet acts up from time to time and it takes a manual reboot to get things going again...
The main problem is that I run out of work sometimes with the cache limit of only 100 work units... That is only about 10 hours of work for this machine, not even half a days cache...
I higher cache sure would be nice for those running Gpu's

I ordered PPS LLR, not PPS Sieve!

I finally discovered this was probably linked to the Update?! thread. Rytis says the problem has been fixed temporarily, and I haven't gotten any sieve work lately.
Not fixed yet, am still getting GCW CUDA tasks when only PPS CUDA is checked...
I seem to be having the same problem of only getting GCW vice PPS even though only PPS cuda is selected

What is the best laptop to buy for PrimeGrid crunching?

I run an ASUS laptop with an ATI card installed 24/7 for the last 4 months.. They are better made then any other laptop I have ever owned and this is the only brand I will buy from now on...
As far as the temps, make sure you have a cooler on the bottom and you won't have any problems... ASUS uses dual fans so all the heat is pushed out the back..
