Challenge is over, but still getting this message when I check in on my PPS LLR hits page:
Disabled during the challenge
you will get this till the clean up is done. then they usually enable it.
Are we able to discover primes during the challenges?

I asked this same question recently and was "attacked" or "politically corrected" with the "It's for the greater good" argument.
Guess admin/cronies here think us CPU crunchers are sheeple. :)

The problem is that PG needs cpu power to complete their project.
To get that power, we (the community) have to dedicate our expensive hardware and electricity, for what? A few measly credits.
PrimeGrid, you can keep your cake.
Don't despair too much about attracting wingmen -- lots of people care more about the work they're doing than the credit they receive. IMHO, the PSP is one of the most interesting projects here, along with the related SOB (aka the "I don't care if it's Prime Sierpinski Problem) and TRP (the, um, anti-matter equivalent of PSP).

I have started crunching on this project and have discovered this same problem.
Yet! I also must complain profusely to PROJECT ADMIN!
The credit for these workunits is really low.
So, not only are people canceling these workunits but the pay out is worse than the other CPU projects.
I see little chance of attracting new crunchers with such poor payouts.
