Sorry for the question that probably has already been asked elsewhere, but why not take into consideration the two crunchers who find and validate a prime number? It's a team effort anyway, and I find this system a bit unfair. (Everyone does not have a computer center available or recent equipment or knowledge to set the material optimally) Moreover, rewarding both would limit cases of "cheating" or sorting. Thank you.

Am I wrong or can this challenge be very frustrating?
Especially when you found 13800346^131072+1 935,840 (decimal) on 2019-01-27 12:54:48
(My second prime only)
Have Fun !

For GFN 21 - 22 and Ultimate 22, is it still required to have high DP computing power ? (HD 7950 / 7970 / Titan Black etc) or are GTX 10xx / RTX 20xx running faster ? Thank You.

The "Prime Rank" of PPSE LLR currently = 0 on PrimeGrid's main page. Is this normal ?
Thank You

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your answer. Sorry, I was not aware of all the tech behind the badges.
You're right, I see on the AF's forum that we have our own adresses.

Best,

Phil1966

Why do the badges for AP27 show AP26?? Shouldn't they also start with again with 0 (so that all crunchers have a chance to compare their efforts)?

Rafael's reasons are good reasons, but the actual reason I didn't change the badges (something that would take much less time than it took to write this message) is that a lot of external stats sites use our badge images. If I change our badges, then they're going to need to make corresponding changes to their own sites.

But I don't see the need to change it just for the sake of changing it.

Dear Michael,
Thank you for your answer.
If you keep the same "image address" for the badge, and if you replace AP26 by AP, there will be no problem. (WCG changed the ZIKA badge lately)
If you create a new badge AP27, again, no problem for the webmasters.

NB : A new badge is always welcome :)

Thank You
Best,
Phil196

Hello !

Not the most important, but do you intend to create an "AP27" badge ?

Thank You
