Scoring information

Scores will be kept for individuals and teams. Only work units issued AFTER January 17th 17:17:00 UTC and received BEFORE January 20th 17:17:00 UTC will be considered for credit.

In this challenge we will be using the same scoring algorithm as we use to determine BOINC credits, including bonuses! Because the score bonuses are included in the challenge score, it is advantageous to run the longer tasks if you can manage to finish them within the 10 day challenge window. This will land you a higher position in the leaderboard and therefor a higher score on the overall leaderboard.

10 or 3?
2) Message boards : Problems and Help : GTX 980 Ti Always Error on GFN-17Low、17Mega、18、19 (Message 152741)

Is it a water cooling? The one I got reaches 80° in 5 minutes if i don't use afterburner
You eventually can check with gpo-z if all the vram is screened
You also can try with another psu
Your temp are the same i got idle

Air cooling, running this program, only a short period of time full load, then a long period of no load, and finally an error. However, the full load temperature is in the normal range, and it is not the error caused by the high temperature.

I would have been tempted to say the driver but no.
If the right range doesn't mean 185°F to you, I really ain't no idea what causes the problem.
Good luck

Your computers/tasks are hidden. Can you unhide them or post a link to a failed task? Seeing the errors would help diagnose the problem.

This is the only GPU,the temperature is within the right range.

For the same GPU, the GFN-22 must be faster than the GFN-DYFL, right?

The time of the game is a little short. I have several old machines. It's estimated that I can't finish it.

Sorry Freestman... could you please break down what I'm looking at with your results?

Lets take the 6700K for example.
Running all 8 threads, it takes 5.48 days to complete 8 tasks.
Running 4 cores, it takes on average around 4 days to complete.
I'm struggling to work out if it's better to run 8T or 4C based on your figures sorry. If I'm reading it right, you'll finish 8 tasks in 5.48 days vs 4 tasks in around 4 days. Is that right?

I didn't think running all threads was ever better than having H/T off? Either way, you'll only complete 8 tasks within the 10 day period.

Did I get that right?

Two computers with the same configuration have obvious differences in performance, perhaps due to differences in heat dissipation.

Due to insufficient testing for HT, I can't be sure if it helps. However, it can be seen that HT has little impact on this project.
