Little late to the party, hopefully 20,000+ Wu's a day will help.

Not being able to see current workunits and time to complete is a problem. If a driver crashed on my gpu how would i know? It has happened before, only noticed by run times. This needs to be taken into consideration.

Looks like we've got 197, a GFN 17 Mega. Verification is being done now.

Happy 2018 with the first one of the year, and hopefully many more to follow!

I can't seem to get it to run for llrMEGA. Created an app_config.xml file just as Mike said and placed in the correct directory for Win 7. Help!

Hyperthreading, as a general rule, should always be off (or at least using only half the available 'cores') for any LLR tasks. However, sieves benefit from it

This is true. However, if you run PPS_Sieve tasks at the same time while the CPU has Hyperthreading enabled(LLR or Sieve, doesn't matter) your GPU output will suffer substantially. Your GPU will constantly be trying to find a stable "virtual" core to run on. In my experience, just leave Hyperthreading off period. Lower CPU temps, better GPU output.

It's probably not a good thing when the official weather forecast includes the word "historic".

During the next 48 hours I may get several feet of snow, and Jim's close enough to me to get caught up in the same storm. It's conceivable one or both of us may lose Internet access at some point.

If questions or problems go unanswered for a while, that's why.

Just a 'few' miles north of you, 45-75+ wind gusts expected, 20-30" of snow. I'll be down for a bit too. I remember how bad that 78' storm was, no heat, (the fireplace was our savior) no power for 7 days. "Juno" sounds like it may match that storm and then some. Break out the generator and stay safe!

Hyperthreading should always be turned off for LLR projects, regardless if you are running your GPU tasks at the same time. As Mike has mentioned many times, Hyperthreading can be advantageous while running CPU Sieve tasks. BUT, running CPU Sieve tasks with Hyperthreading on will slow down your GPU Sieve tasks a bit. Best practice is to leave Hyperthreading off permanently, unless you stop using your GPU, in that case keep Hyperthreading on for CPU Sieves.

Has anyone else had the "15 seconds" run-time BOINC reporting anomaly yet?
It looks like it happened right around 1:06 UTC through 1:16 UTC 21 DEC.

I almost fell out of my chair when the 550Ti finished in 15 seconds! My Titan finished just a bit faster at 14 seconds.
