Apple computer

Thanks for the comments.
Based on comments and price I am reconsidering the Apple purchase.
It would be cheaper I think to replace my dual GTX970 cards with something else although I will have to sort what is best based on performance vs price.
Thanks again.

If I was going to run PrimeGrid tasks on a Apple computer, what type of Apple would I need, to have any chance at finding a significant prime number and what tasks should I run?
Thanks for any answers.

Suddenly "error while computing"
(Message 131545)
Posted 1401 days ago by AT Hiker
Poking around in the system I found that card 0 was not running at all, so I restarted the system and it now seems stable for GFN 15 on both cards.
Perhaps one card not working caused the other to fail calculations although that is beyond my understanding as to why it would.
I don't OC but took a measured approach and turned down the voltage and clock on card 0. Card 0 being on the top always runs hotter but below the point that it should matter.
If the system continues to run reliably I will attempt a GFN 16 and then GFN 17.

Suddenly "error while computing"
(Message 131540)
Posted 1401 days ago by AT Hiker
After running PPS Sieve and AP 27 for many wus with rarely ever having an error I switched last night and started running GFN 15, 16 and 17 low.
All 28 wus failed.
My desktop is running Win 7 and has dual GeForce GTX 970 cards.
The only recent change made was an update to driver 26.21.14.3064 on May 5 2019.
Help please.

Does PG automatically allow the exportation of user stats or do I need to opt in?

Michael,
Thank you very much. I remember some problems with some drivers on PG so I never considered updating the drivers. Sort of "if it ain't broke don't fix it mentality".
Be well!

Does anyone know if the above card will handle OpenCL 1.2.
If so what driver is being used and will that driver work on Prime Grid?
I need 1.2 for something else and don't want to have problems running Prime Grid.
Obviously I know almost nothing about the workings of the computer. I just use the thing.
Thanks for any help.

Cross projects link

Yes I did change my email address recently so that is probably the problem.
So I guess I need to change my email address on every project I have ever run. Now I need to figure out what projects I have run.
Thanks to all for replies.

Cross projects link

I am uncertain what you mean by "no links". Are saying that on the other Projects you have run, the cross project links don't report all your Cobblestones of computation and number of floating-point operations but just the numbers for that project?
I know that in Amicable Numbers the cross project link never reported anything but Amicable Numbers work. I reported that in the discussion group but no one was interested in fixing that.
I just looked at the Amicable Numbers cross link for my account and everything is zeroed out.
But as I stated before PG always reported all of my Projects. I am certain because each day I entered the values in a spreadsheet.
Perhaps there is a BOINC problem.
Thanks for taking time to check and post.
