I currently have a queue of 1 day (with 1 CPU and 5 min per WU, quite a lot).
So I aborted some to fetch new.

Now no new work again

As I said, it's an intermittent problem, which will be resolved during the weekend.

It is just I can't get work at all currently.
I tried several times.
and the comupter is in the list several times...

It seems that your BOINC forgets host IDs and/or communication sequence numbers. What is the version of the client? Maybe there are file permission problems saving state files?

this seems to be fixed somehow.
Can't reprodcue currently.
As soon as I see it, I'll post the sched_request_www.primegrid.com.xml file.

My version is:
5.10.30 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
from the boinc_client package from debian.

But I just tied it again, and got a WU :)

Maybe it was due to the new application?
it downloaded the new applcation for the new WU.

If more than 46 sieve workunits are requested during 5 second interval, the server will respond that it has no work for the application; BOINC server by default keeps 200 tasks in memory and refills the list every 5 seconds. Those 200 tasks are separated into sections for different apps, and gcwsieve gets 46 slots. It seems I will have to recompile server software and increase the limit, maybe to something like 500 tasks. I will do that during the weekend, when I have more free time to fix issues :)

Thanks.
for now it is working anyway.

Finished my first WU.
Wating for the credit.

As this is a debian system the setup is quite similar to the unbuntu one.
No wonder it works...

I Guess there is just a bit of a lag in the communication between prime pages and PG.

For me it was always around 12 hours delay sometimes up to 24h

I don't know what kind of system you're running on.

One E6700 (dual core) and one Semperon 2800.
But both running more or less without my intervention at all.
So every 16 days is for 3 cores is something like every 5 days, which might happen very often when I'm not there to start the next job.
As well the processing, meaning the delivery of the result is much more automated with boinc.

Also, we're still working on additional builds for our current apps. Builds such as 64 bit Linux for the sieves,
...
, 32 bit Linux for Cullen and PSP, etc.

Any way to help?
