Thanks! I just wish I was able to find my tripod in the dark this morning. I would have liked to get some longer exposures... now that I've found it, I might try to snap some shots of the sky again tonight just to see if I can make a decent looking image :)

Here's my best attempt to make a photo of this morning's eclipse. I figured that those of you across the pond would not get a chance to see it.

Hi, I've been lurking in the background lately, enjoying low electricity bills (I've had my crunchers powered down for quite some time) -- when the weather gets cold, I'll fire up the electric heaters again!

I hope all is well with you and our other ratties.

I was recently out of town for the better part of two weeks for work. When I returned last Friday, the house was HOT inside... Wife and kids didn't notice it until a couple hours before I got home. AC was set and turned on, but not making any cold air. Turns out that a tiny little copper pipe about the size of a cocktail straw decided to vibrate itself away from its solder connection which caused all 10lbs of the refrigerant to disappear. So I had no choice but to power down all the computers, while waiting for the part to arrive. I thought I'd be able to power through, but broke down on day 1 at about 85F inside, and bought a little portable AC that almost keeps one room cool. Looks like I'll be down for a little bit, waiting for a $300 part and about $750 worth of new gas... I just wonder how my family manages to destroy things while I'm away. In any case, they're pretty good at it.

Gents,

My apologies for being AWOL. I am seeing a Sapphire badge just around the corner and which I am eager to get out of the way in about two weeks' time.

I will be starting with SR5 thereafter and which will mean a running start with the June/2022 challenge.

I see no problem, AA.
The important thing is for you to be happy :)

About 16 hours to go.

Eudy,
I think this last snip of data might be from the wrong challenge?
