Windows updates periodically (no make that regularly) disturb the drivers. Downloads the Nvidia drivers from Nvidia directly, install and try again.
Thanks for the replies guys! I only download my updates from Nvidia directly AND I don't run windows updates.
BUT! I will remove and reinstall the drivers. Can't hurt.

Hey guys! First post here, but I have done some PG work in the past. Recently I got a 1080gtx and I have been wondering what I should run it on! Well, I decided on the extreme, just to see.
But I noticed the first two tasks failed in a few seconds. The ended with..
Stderr output

I see the error SEEMS like an OpenCL error, but I have run this card on other opencl projects without issue and gpuz says I have opencl. Thoughts?

Thanks guys! These cards are running around 60C on PG. I would rule out the power supply issue as the culprit simply because it runs milkyway tasks with no change. It might have just been a one off task, so I aborted it.

Hey guys, I have been running GFN21 tasks during the recent challenge and was just getting ready to finish up my tasks and noticed something. One of my tasks has been running fr 7 days, it at about 44% and has 9 days left (estimated).
All other cards on the system are identical (7950's) and take about 22 hours. I rarely check these systems, just set it and forget it, so I was surprised. Its not an Extreme task, just a standard task.
Anyone seen this before?
