This may be due to the upcoming BOINC Pentathlon competition. Bunker is allowed under the rules, so crunchers may be fetching work and waiting to return completed work until the competition begins.
If so, this should clear up shortly.

Even so, I think someone should look at this.
I paused for 18 hours and I still have the same pending - a day's worth.
My first rates are close to 90%.
If I wanted to download many tasks, I can only get 2 tasks per day per PC. | |

Looks like results are now being returned. My pending is down a bit, and https://www.primegrid.com/server_status_tasks.php shows a sharp increase in WW tasks completed.

But holy cr*p all my firsts are above 90%!
97.37% highest!
You never see this people - there is - as tng said - stuff going on.
As long as the servers are coping then all is well. | |

You never see this people - there is - as tng said - stuff going on.
As long as the servers are coping then all is well.
In the scope of things, it's not a lot of tasks. The servers aren't affected at all.
You have teams of people participating in a contest where it's advantageous to wait before returning tasks, so that's what they're doing. Things will go back to normal within a week when the contest ends. Anyone not participating in this contest can simply ignore the side effects, other than to enjoy the exceptional first percentages and the increased chance of discovering something.

Cool. My firsts are now astronomically high. "Cake" is 97.5%. My worst computer is above 94%. | |
