I wanted to see if app_config can be used to set a different cputype for AP27, so I added this to my app_config file:

<app> <name>ap26</name> <fraction_done_exact/> <app_version> <app_name>ap26</app_name> <plan_class>cpu_AP27mt</plan_class> <cmdline>-sse41</cmdline> </app_version> </app>


However, the program just seems to be flat out ignoring the parameter according to the stderr file, even after using the 'reload config files" option; it doesn't even show up in the "command line" line of the stderr.txt file. So uh, what am I doing wrong?

From my understanding: app_version is a separate section, not imbedded in an app section.

Ahh - I was reading boinc's client config webpage wrong, all the brackets made it confusing I guess lol. Looks like it's working now, thanks!
