I was surprised to see it worked out of the box on a FirePro V, while BOINC doesn't seem to recognize the GPU. Testing a 120000 digits number took about 6:30 minutes. For the first time ever I can hear the GPU fan...
Recently I was doing some manual testing using cllr on 20E3-30E3 digit numbers on a laptop with Ryzen 5 and they took around 8 minutes each. Proth20 took half a minute!
So I'm really looking forward to use this on a more serious GPU, it will probably blaze through the candidates. Also it should have a significant impact on Primegrid once it can be used here.
1281979 * 2^485014 + 1 is prime ... no further hits up to: n = 5,700,000
