I thought that the credit from PRPNet went towards the PSA Badge but I have been doing a lot of tasks recently, I am doing over 50 a day at the moment, and the credit does not seem to go up very much.
On the PRPNet scores it says that I have.
Task User Team credit tasks completed
121 = Dingo BOINC@AUSTRALIA 52774919 784
27 = Dingo BOINC@AUSTRALIA 37647900 776
FPS = Dingo BOINC@AUSTRALIA 1750213 108
PRS = Dingo BOINC@AUSTRALIA 1020623 91
WFS = Dingo BOINC@AUSTRALIA 160000 160
WSS = Dingo BOINC@AUSTRALIA 9000 9
Plus som ancient work with the total on my stats page at:
ports points tests near or probable hits hits
prime 93,596,356 1,767 0 0
wwww 169,000 169 0 0
ancient 19,008,626 853 0 0
overall 112,773,982 2,789 0 0
BUT MY total on the PSA is only 23,217,594.
There is probably an explanation for this and the points on PRPNet are only granted a proportion on BOINC but I would like it explained for my and others information.

A long while since I've done PRPNet PSA, but, when I did, credit was awarded on the Sunday @ 04:00UT. Dependent on one's global locale one should wake up to a nice surprise tomorrow morning (so to speak). |

and yes - you are correct - credit is awarded by a ratio - which i think is 20:1 (i.e. 5%)

Credit for PRPNet is not as immediate and automatic as it is for BOINC. But you should get it eventually. /JeppeSN |

With Mike Goetz leaving, I took over the PRPNet credit for the first time today. It seems to be working as expected, as you now have 1.5 million in pending PSA credit. The pending credit is added to once a week typically, and some pending credit is applied to your account daily, depending on your RAC. |

Thank you, Reggie! Nice to see some people starting to do some of the tremendous work Mike (and also Jim!) did. /JeppeSN |

and yes - you are correct - credit is awarded by a ratio - which i think is 20:1 (i.e. 5%) Why this low ratio? I ran four factorial tasks for about 19 h, similar to one WOO and the latter gets 20,000 credits and the factorials about 3,000.

I don't want to be annoying, I know I don't need to run PSA if I don't want to and so on.
Just out of curiosity, why is the credit for PSA so low? The same computer I used for SGS now is running PSA and instead of 170 tasks or 6700 credits, it finishes 2 tasks or 2000 credits.
Is it just historical reasons or is it supposed to get people to run PG preferably?

Historical reasons. It's not BOINC and it really shouldn't be awarding any BOINC credit whatsoever. More than 10 years ago, the admins started awarding credit.

Previously, manual sieving credit also counted towards the PSA badge. :)

Speaking of badges, I noticed that according to server stats factorial and primorial have about 200 days of work left, 27 and 121 even less. Extrapolating my current credit rates, this will leave me short of obtaining a gold badge. Will the range of fact/primorials be increased or has it only been sieved up to that n?
And if so, will factorial/primorial sieving be picked up again?

Work is loaded on demand. 27 and 121 will go up to n=10M. |

Yes, but not the n ranges. You mean it will be increased but not up to 10M?
