I noticed a computer with 322 Woodall tasks in progress: https://www.primegrid.com/show_host_detail.php?hostid=474566 .

Maybe, you could introduce a sensible maximum for tasks on a single Computer?

That may not be sensible for Woodall, but that isn't so unreasonable for some GPU tasks. This setting is a PrimeGrid-wide BOINC setting, and not something that can be set individually for the sub-projects.

That may not be sensible for Woodall, but that isn't so unreasonable for some GPU tasks. This setting is a PrimeGrid-wide BOINC setting, and not something that can be set individually for the sub-projects.

And 322 could be very small for Woodall, if someone with zillions of cores is working behind a proxy. Apart from designing a very sophisticated throttling mechanism, I don't see how a fixed limit could be useful.
