Hello Everybody,
during the 50 years First ARPANET Connection Challenge the first 7 WU came back wrong, so i stop the challenge.
After the challanged i started a run of 12 321 LLR WU. The first 3 of them just finished and are inconclusive again.
So it looks like my computer has Problems with LLR tasks. Is there anything i can do?
Edit:
I added 2 More Ram Modules a few weeks ago, corsair vengence 3000 (the same type i alredy used) then i double checked the ram with memtest86 for 24h, no errors.
Also there are no errors on any other BOINC projects so far. Just a problem with the primegrid llr tasks. I will test some of the shorter WU tonight.
But i am still happy for help. |

Hi Sophie
Have you check your CPU temps with something like MSI Afterburner or CPU-Z? Anything above 80C may be indicative of dust accumulating in the fan i.e time for a blow-up with compressed air. Also see if they are atable with just doing half the number of cores & on short tasks. |

Hi Dave,
CPU-Temps are at a maximum of 62C(CPUID HWMONITOR). So I dont think thiy may be the problem. |

Was this computer working properly before adding the new memory? If yes, then try taking the new memory out and see if the problem goes away.

Okay
Just got a Error in prime 95. According to memtest86 ram is fine. But I just set the ram back to 2933 and will start prime 95 again. Maybe this is the problem. |

Are you overclocking your CPU? LLR (and Prime95) are very sensitive to OC. Same with Intel TurboBoost.

No OC. Just Ryzen 2600 out of the Box. So during Boinc Session it sits at 3.65GHZ.
I hoipe the XMP-Profile in the Bios was the failure. Had Prime95 running over night and there where no errors.
So i will wait for all my non-prime WU to finish and start a new run with 321, SOB, PSP.
I will keep you up, if I have new data. |

Try updating motherboard to latest bios if not already on it, as they can improve memory compatibility over time. |

BIOS is updated. RAM is now Primestable again.
I already startedt a new row of 321WU's last Night. So now it is waiting for a few days and see what happens.

Yes, the solution was to deactivate XMP and Downclock the RAM to 2666mhz.
