Is there are way to see 'primegrid' level statistics?
To show how primegrid is collectively progressing.

Like for twin primes search
primes found today/this month/this year/total,
tasks run today/this month/this year/total.
Number of twin primes remaining in current range
Percent complete of current twin prime range.
Primes per task percentage for current range.

There are some stats on the top of the main Primegrid page, but these really don't give any feeling for progress, as a whole or for each subproject.

While we don't have "exactly" what you are looking for, we do have more than what you see on the home page.

In server status you can see range statistics which show you where PrimeGrid is in the current test range for each project.

Also, you can see the minimum n or k remaining for each project.

In addition to these, AlphaLaser has produced more detailed stats that can be found here.

I hope this helps you for now. There is always an ongoing effort to provide more stats. If any one wishes to help in this effort, please let us know.

Thanks jmblazek,

Twin prime stats has what I was looking for.
We're getting about 2.7 primes/10,000 wu and if this means what I think it does we are 132485/206262 or 64% through the 333333 range.

According to my memory the TPS range is going to 100G or 108G, and at the moment the crunchers is crunching in the area of 34.5 G, so we are approximately 34.5% through the TPS range. Also please notice, that as (though it is slowly at the moment due to other interests) the sieveing progresses, the amount of primes will decrease and so will the amount of WUs so actually the numbers might not change at all, but the crunching speed will deffinently increase. Also if we eliminates more and more single or non-twinprimes, more and more double checks will be eliminated, which again will give a positive speedincrease.

Take care!

Ps. I'm going to join the PSP sieve around the 13 March, just as soon as I've completed my own manually reserved range... so how about encouraeging to a sieve rally jmblazek? I think that it could be awesome to see if we could rally enough power to actually make 100,000 factors in 7 days :) Hope all is well for you and your family my friend...

As can be seen in AlphaLaser's Daily Factor chart for PSP Sieve, 100,000 factors might me a good annual goal. :) A realistic weekly goal would be closer to 2,000 factors. An optimistic goal would be 2,500 factors.

Also note, the effect of the 64 bit Linux application is still unknown as there was a nice push for PSP Sieve starting about a week before it was released. Hopefully we'll continue to see a sustained effort.

Though I don't know how many 64-bit processors we have to our aid, I think that 2,500 should be possible as minimum, since we almost at currently moment is close to 2,500 factors/week. Well anyway let me know how you would most likely want my support. I've found out, that my powersupply gets overheated from running LLR, so sieveing will be ok for me to support... but hey you know my e-mail and of course you still have 8 days to think about what kind of assistance you want :)
