AP on Ubuntu getting computation errors b4 it starts

I've got SETI running ok with the GPU, but not the primegrid AP search. B4 the task starts it gets a computation error.
I'm relearning Linux and not sure what could be causing it. EVGA Geforce 1050Ti 4gb card.
Drivers are installed, rebooted, AP tasks fail. Will try a GFN task now and PPS sieve to check those as well. | |

PPS-Sieve works
GFN does not (for GFN 15 and GFN-17 MEGA)
AP does not
Floating point math issues?

PPS-Sieve is a CUDA program. AP27 and Genefer are OpenCL.
It sounds like the OpenCL driver isn't installed correctly.

ok. That's something to go on. I will see about installing the OpenCl drivers, either new, or correctly fixing them, and see what happens.

Sweet success! First AP task running on the 1050ti on the Ubuntu machine. Thanks Michael!
I ran this command - "sudo apt install ocl-icd-libopencl1"
