If you're the "wingman" for a found prime (Say user A finds a prime, then I verify it), am I still notified that a prime was found or does it not technically count (like it doesn't in the Off. Announcement PDfs). Thanks.

There's no email or PM, but it will show up in your primes list under "double checker".

An exception to this is when the prime finder hasn't granted us permission to report the primes and doesn't respond within a suitable period. Then the double checker, for reporting purposes, is considered the prime finder and gets the emails, etc.

For official announcements, we generally include the double checker in the announcement. Sometimes the wingman doesn't return the task and rather than send it out again, we use our internal verification in lieu of an official double checker.
