I have completed the database optimizations that required short periods of server downtime. It is therefore once again safe to reduce your cache sizes back to 0 if you so desire.
We normally recommend running with 0 cache because it makes you more likely to be the discoverer of a prime rather than the double checker.

How can I make my cache 0?
Options -> Computing preferences -> Store at least / Store up to an additional. Set both to 0 |

We normally recommend running with 0 cache because it makes you more likely to be the discoverer of a prime rather than the double checker.
In case you weren't aware, this only applies to the projects that find primes. The LLR and GFN projects. The sieve projects only find factors and a 0 cache is not as important.
Cheers

It won't bother anything if we leave it at 0 though, right? |

Worst case for 0 is that if you can't get work for whatever reason, your computer might idle until the connection to server is restored (plus up to an hour delay between retries). So for those who are doing it for scoring more than finding primes, a non-zero cache would prevent that. |
