Who gets the credit for finding the prime.

The 1st computer to start the wu or the 1st to complete the wu.

Neither. The first one to return the result to the server gets credited with the discovery. I've got the server set up to instruct clients to return results immediately so you get credited for finding the prime, but that doesn't work on old clients, and there may be way for a user to override that setting. I know there are some computers that don't do it despite the server setting.

In practice, it's usually the first computer to finish the computation, since it should return the result first. But if for some reason it doesn't return the result immediately, it's possible the other computer could return the result first and get credit for the find.

EDIT: This applies to all primes, not just GFNs.

cc_config, <report_results_immediately> tag. Pretty self explanatory. The downside is that it will apply the setting to ALL projects, not just primegrid. Still, it's a way to do it in all clients.
