Where even k's get a chance!
Announced is a five day challenge at SR5 (Sierpinski/Riesel Base 5 Project) from June 9th until June 14th. I suggest we start at 18:00 UTC and end at the same time.
Caution! This project will move to BOINC, so this is a farewell race. If port is empty challenge is over even if there is still time left!
More about the Sierpinski/Riesel Base 5 Project can be found here. News and infos about the PRPNet client can be found here.
To take part, you have to activate the following lines in prpclient.ini:
server=SR5:100:1:prpnet.primegrid.com:7171
Stats will be available 15 minutes after the start at the well known place here
Enjoy and relax, if you can ...

I noticed on my computer running SR5 that it is using pfgw64.exe. Does this use the AVX extensions?
Should I force it to use llr64.exe instead, if possible?

yes but its slower.
//SR5
llrexe=llr.exe
add this line and remove pfgw but you need to finish WU first. |

Yeah, that was a nice race. It was definitely a good decision to switch another machine over yesterday. :)

The problem is now the rest. If any prime is left we wasting some ressources now in BOINC. |

STATUS:
All unsent SR5 candidates have now been moved from PRPNet to BOINC. All that remains in the PRPNet server are the tasks currently out being processed by a client computer.
If you wish, feel free to try to snag a last SR5 task or two from PRPNet in case any of the outstanding tasks get returned with an error or time out.
