I think there is a bug in GFN workunit distribution. I am wondering why my PC is running Genefer workunits on CPU and GPU. On preferences page I just had GFN short tasks CUDA and PPS LLR CPU/CUDA selected.
The next problem I have with these GFN workunits: When Boinc pauses a GFN CPU workunit it doesnt get paused and the newly started task is running but gets 0% CPU.

The GPU/CPU mess up is known bug in BOINC. Basically the server gets confused under some conditions.

This is true. It happens once and a while. Just stay vigilant and make sure you don't waste time on the CPU.

The suspend/resume issue is odd. If you end up with a CPU version (and have a GPU ready to use instead) just abort it; the exact same (short) WUs are sent to both clients,
