I know a few people have inquired about when GFN would show up on the Subproject Status page. I don't know, but I did gather some statistics. I may be missing some data, so this is unofficial, but it should give you an idea of where we stand.
As of approximately 05:00 UTC on 11-Mar-2012 in the GFN World Record project:
- 346 WUs have been sent out, with b values ranging from 18 to 1498.
- 63 WUs have completed so far. All are composite.
- The lowest B that is known to be composite is 18, and the highest is 962.
- The lowest B for which we don't yet a canonical result is 20. The highest is 1498.
- 776 hosts have been sent at least one task.
- 153 Hosts have AMD CPUs and 622 have Intel CPUs. That can be further broken down:
- Athlon: 23
- Athlon II:11
- FX:14
- Opteron: 7
- Phenom: 6
- Phenom II: 91
- Sempron: 1
- Celeron: 3
- Core (original): 1
- Core i3: 9
- Core i5: 95
- Core i7: 330
- Core2: 129
- Pentium: 19
- Xeon: 34
- Other Intel: 2
- Darwin: 1
- Linux: 81
- Windows (ALL): 693
- Windows 7: 602
- Windows Server 2003: 1
- Windows Server 2008: 4
- Windows Vista: 25
- Windows XP: 61
(Unfortunately the text strings for GPUs don't sort very nicely, so I can't easily count those. Maybe next time.)
- A total of 3654 individual tasks have been created.
- 6 have not been sent out yet.
- 3652 were sent to hosts running v1.06 of GeneferCUDA.
- 32 were sent out to hosts using app_info.
- 435 results are in progress.
- 138 validated results have been returned.
- 280 successful results have been returned overall.
- 266 results were aborted by the user.
- 2497 results ended with a computation error. This included:
- 1069 "No valid GPU" errors. Most of these are due to the 295 driver bug.
- 558 "maxErr exceeded" errors. Most of these are due to overclocking.
