I noticed that at least some WUs have gone out that, if they turn out to be prime, are large enough to be World Records.

We sure got to that point quickly. Good luck to everyone, and may the GeForce be with you!

P.S. If you're crunching an old "smaller" WU, it's still huge and most of them are good for at least 3rd place -- and by far the largest prime ever found at PrimeGrid and the largest non-Mersenne prime ever found. These slightly older WUs have a huge advantage: besides being shorter, many have one completed result, so when you complete it credit will be awarded very quickly. If you're the first to return a result, you may wait a long time for it to validate. I just completed my first WU, where I returned the result first. The second WU I just started already has a result returned. I'll almost certainly get credit for the second WU before the first one.
